CONTRACTS, PERMITS, AND PAYMENTS FOR RENTALS MUST BE HANDLED IN PERSON AT
THE HISTORIC RITZ THEATRE DURING GIAHA BUSINESS HOURS:
Thursdays and Fridays 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

GLYNN COUNTY BASED ORGANIZATIONS
Non-Profit Organization………………..$50.00 per hour
For Profit Organization…………………$100.00 per hour

ORGANIZATIONS BASED OUTSIDE OF GLYNN COUNTY
Non-Profit Organization……………….$75.00 per hour
For Profit Organization………………...$150.00 per hour

*Non-Profit Organizations must provide proof of non-profit status*

EVENTS CONTINUING 15 MINUTES BEYOND THE CONTRACTUAL HOUR WILL BE BILLED AT THE FULL HOURLY RATE.

  1. Renter will be billed for all hours that the theatre staff are required to be present, including:
  2. for load-in and load-out of sets and equipment
  3. for light/sound checks – NOTE: Special light and sound needs require additional time and staff.
  4. for rehearsal
  5. for audience vacating premises
  6. for deliveries requiring Ritz Theatre staff
  1. Rental Fee includes one (1) House Manager/Technician

Additional Lighting and Sound Technician Rate:  $15.00 per hour per technician.  Any time in excess of 8 hours per day will be charged at the overtime rate of $25.00 per hour.
It is required that GIAHA technicians be in the tech booth during all Ritz Theatre rental events.  No exceptions.

  1. Janitorial Fees:  $100.00 Standard Janitorial Fee Per Event
  2. Additional Staff Rate: $10.00 per hour per staff.  (For lobby or ushering duties if renter does not provide.)
  3. Security Deposit:  A security deposit is required for all rentals and will be no less than $100 and no greater than $500 which will be determined by the type of event; number of people; and if food or beverages will be served/sold in the facility.  This deposit will be returned no later than five (5) business days after the event after management has inspected facility and equipment. (see Security Deposit Info Sheet)

PAYMENT:

50% OF ESTIMATED FEE DUE AT SIGNING OF CONTRACT
(25% refundable if contract canceled ten (10) days prior to rental event)

BALANCE OF ESTIMATED FEE DUE IN FULL 48 HOURS PRIOR TO EVENT
