GIAHA sponsors arts and humanities exhibits in the Ritz Theatre Gallery throughout the year featuring touring exhibits, local and regional artists and student art. All exhibits are free and open to the public during regular gallery hours. The

July 11-August 9 Stunning photos by Randall Hollis of musicians in performance, and others inspired by the Art of Music. Sales and sponsorships will benefit music education programs in the Glynn County schools. |
August 15 - Sept 27 Jim Jinkins, creator of "Doug," "PB&J Otter," "Pinky Dinky Doo" and many other cartoon shows, exhibits animation cels (his own and others) highlighting the joyous art of this popular form. Jim will also present an animation workshop on August 16. |
Oct. 3 - Nov. 26 Dallas, Georgia, artist Mike Nalley captures the people and places, the surface and soul of the South in this collection of evocative fine art photographs. |
Dec. 5 - Jan. 3 Glynn County Student Art Show Showcase for the creative talents of our local students. Hundreds of works in all mediums by students in all grade levels, K-12, will be on display. |

Jan. 9-31 A special show in conjunction with The Big Read, i nspired by the themes, story, and characters of the timeless classic, To Kill a Mockingbird (this year's Big Read community book). artists interpret the Details(and call for art work) to follow soon for this enlightening and unique exhibit (check back to this page or The Big Read page). |
Feb 6-28 Award-winning work by disabled artists from throughout the state of Georgia in an annual touring exhibit that is both inspiring and artistically stimulating. The art on display typically includes paintings, drawings, photography, pottery, silkscreen and woodcarving. |
March 6-28 The grace of the past captured through contemporary photos. Southern Arts Federation brings us haunting images of the visual, aesthetic and atmospheric dimensions of the unique, historic above-ground cemeteries of New Orleans, reflecting over 200 years of the city's religious and cultural history. |
April 4-26, 2008 The 8th annual
installment of one of our most unique art exhibits, presented in partnership with Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles
Beautiful. All grade
levels in Glynn County schools are invited to
participate and compete for prizes. All artwork must be original and made
from only recyclable materials – paper, metals, plastics, glass cardboard,
etc.
