Balsam Range
Balsam Range is a top-tier bluegrass band known for soulful harmonies and Appalachian roots. The quintet—Tim Surrett, Caleb Smith, Marc Pruett, Alan Bibey, and guest Don Rigsby—has won multiple IBMA awards, including Entertainer of the Year (2014, 2018). With 14 albums, including hits like Aeonic, they shine at festivals and the Grand Ole Opry.

In Here: Emerging Voices presented by Jacksonville Dance Theatre
Jacksonville Dance Theatre’s Season 14 is a celebration of bold experimentation, artistic collaboration, and homegrown innovation. This March at the Ritz, Jacksonville Dance Theatre presents a special performance showcasing brand-new works choreographed by JDT company members, commissioned and developed under the artistic mentorship of Artistic Director, Rebecca R. Levy. This exciting show celebrates the creative voices within our company, offering audiences a first look at original, thought-provoking dance works crafted by the artists who know JDT from the inside out.

GEORGIA COASTAL ARTISTS GUILD
Founded in 1983, Georgia Coastal Artists Guild is comprised of over 35 local and regional artists including fine oil, watercolor and acrylic painters, and print makers who display a myriad of work in motifs from traditional to contemporary. Artists in the Guild are recognized for achievement on local, regional and national levels.

Golden Isles Penguin Project Presents: Disney's Frozen JR
The Golden Isles Penguin Project celebrates its 10th anniversary with the magic and love of Disney’s Frozen JR. When Queen Elsa accidentally sets off an eternal winter in the town of Arendelle, her younger sister Anna (along with her friends Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven) goes off on a thrilling adventure to find her sister and save the kingdom. Frozen JR reveals how true love can come in many forms, and that the bond between sisters is something truly special.

Brunswick Art Loop - Contemporary Arts Alliance of Georgia
The Millie Wilcox Gallery in the Historic Ritz Theatre hosts 8-10 exhibitions per year. New in 2025-2026 season is the “Brunswick Art Loop.” In partnership with SoGlo Gallery, the Brunswick Library Gallery, and others, our official exhibit openings will take place on the first Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 7 pm.
The Wilcox Gallery is open Tuesdays-Fridays 9 am to 5 pm, during events and by appointment.

Golden Isles Penguin Project presents The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition
The Penguin Project ® was conceived to give young people with special needs an opportunity to participate in the performing arts. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world

Local writer and producer, David Searles, presents his film Was Once a Hero at the Historic Ritz Theatre, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 7 pm. The film screening will be followed by a talk back.
Directed by Michael Tuthill and written and produced by Dan Searles, Was Once A Hero follows Ginny and her younger brother Little Bit as they flee across treacherous terrain after witnessing their father’s brutal murder at the hands of Chance and his gang. Their desperate journey takes an unexpected turn when they encounter Major Malcom Hunter, a once-celebrated war hero now battling memory loss and personal demons.

RECLAIMING EBO LANDING
The Wilcox Gallery in the Ritz will play host to Reclaiming Ebo Landing, which combines performance, visual art and history to reassert the importance of a pivotal narrative of resistance to enslavement and fight for freedom. A team of professional artists and educators will have an exhibit in the Wilcox Gallery opening on Friday March 7th from 5 to 8 pm.

Jacksonville Dance Theatre

The Big Read! Coastal GA Reads Keynote Speaker: Wanda M. Morris
Mystery writer Wanda M. Morris is the keynote speaker for this year's Coastal Georgia Reads. Her latest novel, What You Leave Behind, is set in Brunswick, Georgia. The keynote event is 7 pm, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Ritz Theatre in Historic Downtown Brunswick.

Verdi’s tragic opera, La Traviata, follows the story of Violetta (a high-class courtesan in 19th-century Paris) and her passionate love affair with Alfredo (a young nobleman).
Despite their developing romance, the relationship is soon put under pressure as societal expectations, misunderstandings and illness threaten to tear them apart – ultimately leading to a heart-breaking conclusion.
