National Treasure follows Benjamin Franklin Gates, an amateur cryptologist and historian from a family of treasure hunters. He embarks on a quest to find a centuries-old Freemason treasure. Realizing the document is in danger, Ben is forced to do the unthinkable: steal the Declaration to protect it.
